Socially Speaking is a

Pragmatic Social Skills

Programme for Pupils

with Mild to ModerateLearning Disabilities.

It last a whole school year and is divided

into three units:

•Let’s communicate

•Let’s be friends

•Let’s practice

As pupils progress through the

programme, their self esteem will

increase, their listening skills will

improve and their language skills will

blossom. Improved expressive skills and

the confidence they give a child will benefit

the whole school.
